AIDS/LifeCycle 2013 Begins!

AIDS LifeCycle Day 1

Every day this week, I am will write an HIV / AIDS-related post in honors of AIDS LifeCycle. Today the riders rode into Santa Cruz. To recognize their accomplishment and the 82.5 miles they covered today, I am putting up the finale from “And the Band Played On.”

Chevron has been battling AIDS for more than 25 years. The company challenged independent filmmakers to create videos about why they believe AIDS is going to lose. The results are touching and inspiring. This video made it in the top 10 of all videos created worldwide. AIDS is strong, but together we are stronger.

AIDS LifeCycle

This weekend, AIDS LifeCycle 12 kicks off. AIDS/LifeCycle is the world’s largest annual AIDS fundraiser, raising more than $13 million in 2011.
