The Year That Was 2014

This post is dedicated to my college roommate Vaughn Shain Alexander.

2014 was a year of extremes.

I traveled to the World Cup in Brazil and hosted Global Press Events in Las Vegas and Berlin. I made several lifelong friends and rekindled friendships that had gone silent. My BMW X1 entered my life and I will never be the same. I completed my 3rd AIDS LifeCycle and fundraised $15,000 for HIV / AIDS causes in the Bay Area.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, my college roommate ended his life and to me that act overshadowed the year in many ways. He was incredibly driven, successful and intelligent. His final gift was to remind us to live life to its fullest and to reach out to those you had lost touch with.

The year that was. The year that will be. So many aspirations and hopes for the year ahead.

Happy New Years everyone. Let’s do this.
