The “New York Post” Nailed It

“The New York Post” nailed in its coverage of Kim and Kanye’s nuptials. “Two jackasses got married in Italy Saturday,” the Post’s story begins.

I won’t belabor the point, but the whole wedding and events leading up to it were intended for ratings. At best the whole event was obnoxious, at worst it distracted us from our own lives and critical world events.

The 55-word article on the Kim Kardashian Kanye West wedding nailed what we were all thinking. Here is the full text:

“Two jackasses got married in Italy Saturday.

Sex-tape star Kim Kardashian, 33, wed egotist Kanye West, 36, in a wedding opulent enough for Florence’s Medici dynasty and tacky enough for reality TV.

They were betrothed at Florence’s 16th-century Fort di Belvedere castle. Olympic athlete Bruce Jenner walked Kim down the aisle.

The republic still stands.”
