AIDS LifeCycle: Day 0 (Orientation)

Today I went to the Cow Palace for AIDS LifeCycle Orientation.

Everyone has a reason why they ride. It is a question that we all ask ourselves. Why do we get up every day at 5 am, why do we take a week’s vacation to work our asses off, why do we ride 545 miles?

For me, I have lost too many friends and have too many friends living with the illness. So today, I watched the safety video, checked-in my bike, found out my tent assignment, and received my fundraising incentives.

Orientation Day is the first step in our AIDS/LifeCycle 2013 journey. The next step takes place tomorrow.
