It’s a Dog’s Life
Although the origins of the term, “it’s a dog’s life” go back to when dogs were kept as work animals rather than pets, I mean it here in the best sense.
Max and I drove out with Sports Model (remember I don’t post my friend’s real names) and her dog Paisley to Fort Funston. It was a wonderful time climbing down the Dutch sand ladders and going through the network of trails and sand dunes.
There is something to be said for living a dog’s life in the modern sense of the word. It is fun running around, chasing balls, thinking only of food and water.
As I write this my pitbull Max is happily snoring away on his pillow while his sister Zoe (my tabby cat) licks him off. It’s a dog’s life everybody. We are just the humble man servants… and happily so.
