The Bond Files: 12 Days of Bond

007-logo-wallpaper

In 12 days I leave for Jamaica. In honor of the trip and my passion for everything James Bond, I am watching every James Bond film ever produced.

Why Jamaica and why Bond?

For two months every year, from 1946 to his death eighteen years later, Ian Fleming – the writer and creator of James Bond – stayed in Jamaica. He lived at Goldeneye, the house he built on a point of high land overlooking a small white sand beach on Jamaica’s stunning north coast. All the James Bond novels and stories were written in Jamaica.

So between now and my departure date, I will watch every Bond film and come to understand Ian Fleming. I am keeping track of which films I watch below.
