Tomorrow I am heading to New York City and my small bag of travel must-haves needed updating. As a woman, I’m (and I speak for we), are always bombarded constantly with every new product under the sun from so-called ‘volumizing’ shampoos to that cream that will surely slough off ten years (seriously, those damn marketers are good though). While all of these neat little products are tempting, and oh boy by tempting I mean seriously tempting, we can get sidetracked and forget what our moms always engrained in us originally, KEEPING IT SIMPLE! 

When traveling, I’ve always found it challenging to filter through my wardrobe and line of products only to be able to bring some. What I have found useful though is asking myself what are my staple day-to-day’s that I couldn’t get through the day without?
