Going out to eat before the Internet

Hard to believe there was a time before the internet, or that any of us actually could dine out, let alone survive, without it.

The folks over at Mandatory.com have once again brilliantly pointed out the obvious (you’ll of course recall their Drinking in Los Angeles vs. Drinking in New York City chart) and made us laugh at ourselves. I, for one, am certainly guilty of letting my food get cold while I doll it up in Instagram. Though we’ll be first to admit, being able to get real-time, crowd-sourced reviews and info about any restaurant anywhere… is pretty damn cool.

We still love you intrernet… we just have to laugh at you (with you?) sometimes.
