Sometimes I feel like I would be happier if my life were simpler.

Here I am, in a foreign country, not knowing where my next paycheck is going to come from. What in the hell am I doing? Wouldn’t I feel much more safe and secure being back home, working a call center job, knowing I have a steady income? Then I wouldn’t have to always be tired from trying to speak a foreign language. Then I wouldn’t have to confront my fear of rejection as I search for a new job.

Looking through websites like WordPress I see so many people traveling the world and
living their dreams. It all looks so enchanting and wonderful. But what they don’t tell you is that when you live your dreams you take a risk. You really have to take responsibility for
yourself. And it’s scary.
