As I sat down to start writing this post I was interrupted by my precious pit bull mix, Tank with a nose nudge demanding I pay him some attention.  Quickly my original post idea went out the window and I decided to spend a few minutes reflecting on my first “baby” and how he has enhanced my life and my children’s lives.

I am a dog person.  Period.  I know some people prefer cats or no animals at all, but me…I LOVE dogs.  I always have.  It is hard for me to imagine a life without a fur-baby in it.  So I started thinking….what does Tank bring to our lives that makes us better, happier, healthier?
