Bring Todd Home
A 25-year-old man left his warm house in Carmel Valley Sunday and spent the night in freezing temperatures on the street.
Todd Sondgroth has vowed to remain homeless until he raises $10,000 for charities that help Monterey County’s homeless population.
“I’m going homeless and risking my family, my job, and my life to INSPIRE,” Sondgroth wrote. “This is a real as it gets. I could die. Monterey County is the most dangerous county to be homeless in the United States.”
He left his house equipped with nothing but his cellphone, cellphone charger, and a backpack. He did not bring any food, water, or money to help him survive on the streets.
