Since January, more than two dozen anti-gay hate crimes have occurred in the City of New York. In a year when we stand to make the most significant strides for equality, it is unsettling to hear of these gay bashings take place across the country. As a community, let’s have a fun Gay Pride Month, look out for each other, and safely celebrate the 44th anniversary of Stonewall.
